The Barons The Barons of Barbershop, all members of the
award-winning Dukes of Harmony Chorus, were formed in 1995 to enable the Scarborough Chapter to become more actively involved
in the community. Since that time, the Barons have sung at over 250 different functions throughout the Greater Toronto
Area (GTA), performing for churches, hospitals, nursing and retirement homes, senior programmes such as C.H.A.T.S. and corporate
functions as well as numerous fundraising initiatives. The Barons also enjoy giving musical seminars at schools
in what is known as the Sing Canada, Sing America Program, which introduces young children to vocal music. They have
raised thousands of dollars for their barbershopper's charity, Harmonize For Speech, which raises millions of dollars
throughout Ontario for children and adults who face speech challenges.
